Welcome!

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Finnish Centre of Excellence in Tax Systems Research (FIT), Tampere University. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota, working together with Prof. Aldo Rustichini. I earned the PhD in Economics in 2021 from the European University Institute under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Ichino and Prof. Giacomo Calzolari.

My area of expertise is Applied Microeconomics. My thesis “Essays in Applied Microeconomics” includes four chapters mainly focusing on the interaction between intelligence and individual choices in education, labour market and fertility. I am interested in topics related to determinants of educational choices and career path. Jointly with Prof. Aldo Rustichini at the University of Minnesota, we are also interested in incorporating economic theory into genetic modelling and estimation.
